“I got back into Magic around the release of Magic Origins and had never heard of EDH before, but regularly saw people post 100-card decks with all unique cards in them. I decided to investigate what these decks were about, learned about EDH, built my own decks, and joined a small EDH Skype group that would later turn into PlayEDH.”

“I walked into an LGS as a fresh player with a Planeswalker deck, most people there were playing a multiplayer format I hadn't seen before. After asking about it and being taught how to play using one of their decks, a week later I went back into that LGS with the Estrid and Saheeli precons , and just kept playing and building decks ever since.”

How did you get into EDH?

“When I first came to Magic in '96, I used all Commons. Everyone said I was daft to build a deck with just Commons, but I built it all the same, just to show them. I then gave away my deck. In 2005 I built a second one. I gave THAT one way. In 2014 I built a third. That burned down, got lost, or sank into a swamp. But the fourth one, I kept. And that's what you're going to get, friends, the strongest deck in all of CEDH.”
